Nestled in the eclectic East Atlanta Village, Gaja Korean Bar presents a delightful fusion of traditional Korean flavors and a modern dining experience. Though it may take a keen eye to locate its unassuming entrance, stepping inside reveals an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of an industrial space adorned with vibrant, sci-fi-themed decorations.
Food enthusiasts like Christopher Lobban rave about the standout dishes, particularly the savory pork belly and the breathtaking bone marrow with glass noodles, both praised for their expertly crafted flavors. The restaurant's menu is diverse, and every dish seems to exceed expectations, as noted by customers like LJ With no K who calls the Hedo Bap "good to the last grain." Additionally, the brussels sprouts have garnered a dedicated following, receiving a perfect 10/10 from Kenia.
Complementing its culinary offerings, Gaja serves up refreshing cocktails, including a noteworthy frozen Jameson drink that Christopher describes as "awesome." The friendly staff contributes to a relaxed vibe, with casual outings enhanced by fun features like karaoke nights. If you’re searching for a cozy gathering spot with substantial portions and creative drinks, Gaja Korean Bar certainly hits the mark.

Nestled in a vaguely shady looking parking lot next to the bodega in the EAV, you'll find Gaja. Honestly, the most accurate thing I could say would be that everything is good. I haven't really tried everything, but everything I've tried is above average, and I've had most of their menu. My faves, you say? The pork belly (tender, savory perfectly cooked), and the bone marrow w/glass noodles. Freaking outstanding. Also, if you're feeling a bit dry, the cocktails won't disappoint. Try the frozen Jameson thing. It's awesome.

Met some friends for a casual Saturday dinner. It can be a little difficult to find from the outside, because the entrance is a small metal door. The inside space is reminiscent of an old factory. It has a high ceiling and very cool poster and decorations all around the restaurant to give a sci-fi Korean feel. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. They offer great food for reasonable prices.

The food at Gaja is phenomenal. The Hedo Bap and it was good to the last grain. Also if you don't get the Iggy Popsicle you missed out. Also never sleep on the brussel sprouts.

Love the vibe here! Very casual, not over the top but comfortable. They have a Karoake nigt,Tues I think.Food was off the charts, decent portion sizes and good. Our table wasn't big enough to hold. Drinks were good. Parking is available but tight. We parked on the street.

A cute , little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in the middle of EAV! You have to go try this place!!! My friend and I went last week and had a lovely time. We ordered an array of dishes from kimchi to pork katsu. Everything came out quickly and the food was tasty and fresh. It’s a bit intimate so I wouldn’t suggest too big of a group to go. The drink menu had a great selection of craft cocktails that were light yet flavorful. Great for a girls night, date night or solo date !

Gaja is hands down my favorite spot in ATL to grab drinks and chill with friends! First off, the Korean fried chicken is amazing—perfectly crispy and saucy every time. But the real banger for me is the japchae. I've tried japchae at a bunch of spots, and Gaja's is easily the best I've had anywhere. The bone marrow really makes the difference. On top of that, the drinks are super affordable, especially for Atlanta standards. The vibes here are immaculate! Think Korean dive bar atmosphere that just makes you want to hang out all night. If you're looking for great food, awesome drinks, and good vibes, Gaja is the spot!

The atmosphere was wonderful. But you have to really look for it because it sits off to the side of another building. Like connected to a smoke shop. Which was cool. Everything was great. If I say I would go back. You all try it sometime..
